Treatment Effect Observation Of Little Needle-scalpel Combined With Comprehensive Rehabilitation Therapy For Scoliosis Athletes

Purpose:The time is always limited for competitive athletes.After the arrangement on competition and training,there is no more time left for them to spend on treating their injury.Therefore,competitive athletes require a specific treatment:A quick,convenient and good quality of short-term treatment.In this research,"Chinese medical Little Needle-scalpel" and "Comprehensive rehabilitation therapy(include Chinese traditional medicine of conservative therapy)" these two kinds of treatment were being used to heal Scoliosis athletes and observe the effect to the training while therapy and training was doing both at the same time. Besides,the physical feelings and the effects to the training was compared before and after the treatment.This research was also provided a guide for those competitive athletes who were going to solve their problems on having training with injuries.Methods:7 scoliosis competitive athletes were chosed and let them take the X-ray films and the soreness feeling survey before the beginning of the treatment and after the treatment.In this whole process:"Little needle-scalpel",moxibustion treatment on the spinal therapy mat,2 types of bone reset therapy,back muscle comprehensive rehabilitation training and back muscle local rehabilitation training,these types of methods were being used.Treatment methods were:1) the use of Little Needle-scalpel release rigid soft tissue and pain relief;2) the use of moxibustion treatment of mitigation and Little Needle-scalpel therapy to relax the muscles reaction;3) the use of manual reduction,restoration of bone;4) Rehabilitation training:to increase spinal muscular endurance and strength training,as detailed in the latter.Furthermore, this research was separated into several process and 10 days was count as a treatment process,5 counts in total. Results:1.The cobb's angle changes to the average degree:Treatement before:15.71±7.63,Treatement after:9.57±5.50;2.Pain Intensity:YAS score before6.86±0.90,after 3.71±0.76;total score of pain before 18.57±4.28,after11.43±4.16;3) Change of dysfunction:ODI before 24.86±9.01,after 16.86±4.30;7 weeks later each of the subjects have significant changes.Conclusion:"Chinese medical Little Needle-scalpel" combined with "Unite rehabilitation treatment" is very useful for athlete scoliosis and chroinc pain,Six-weeks treatment can significantly improve the scoliosis Cobb's degree,and release the pain,and it doesn't affect the training schedule of athletes.
