Objective:To observe the expression trend ofβ-APP protein and NF-κBin different time after the experimental traumatic brain injury in rats and their relation with the wound ages.In order to explore the application for estimating the early time of brain contusion in forensic medicine aspect.Methods:The sixty SD rats were divided into control group(contain 6 rats) and experimental group(contain 54 rats) randomly.Based on Feeney' s model of cerebral contusion and took the samples at 1h,4h,12h,24h,2d,,3d,5d,7d,14d after brain injury,The expression ofβ-APP protein in different time was observed by immunohistochemical techniques and computer image analysis,To observe the expression trend ofβ-APP protein and NF-κB in different time after the experimental traumatic brain injury in rats.Results:The control-group was negotive,The expression ofβ-APP protein could be detected at 1h after injury,increased and peaked at 48h.Return to the level of control at 14 d. The expression of NF-κB could be detected at 1h after injury,increased and peaked at 48h. Returned to the level of control at 7d.Conclusion:The time-dependent expression ofβ-APP protein and NF-κB in the brain after brain contusion of rat could be applied in dating of wound for brain contusion..
