The Study Of The Clinical Effect Of Treating Hyperplasia Of Mammary Gland(HMG) By Electromagnetotherapy With Electroacupuncture

Objective:To observe the difference on the clinical curative effect and the safety of the therapy between electromagnetotherapy and electroacupuncture in the treatment of hyperplasia of mammary gland(HMG),to compare and contrast its effect in treating the disease and to promote its application in clinical practice.Method:1,By random controlled effect way of study,divide the patients with hyperplasia of mammary gland(HMG) who meet the standards of HMG diagnosis into two groups:the treatment group and the controlled group.2,The controlled group is consisted of 21cases.Acu-points used are on the stomach,liver and gallbladder radians,which are ST15,ST36,ST40,LR14,GB21,GB41on both sides. In addition to the types of liver qi stagnant and chong ren inhamonic,LR3 was added to the type of liver qi stagnant and LU7and SP4 were added to the type of chong ren inharmonic.Manipulation method:For thecontrolled group, Circling Needle:After sterilizing the skin for treatment,insert the needle to the points mentioned.After the arrival of qi,connect the needles to the G6805 Acu-point Stimulator.Keep the needles in this way for 30 minutes, three times a week.For the treatment group,adhere the magnet with the wire of the G6805 Acu-point Stimulator on the A-shi points,and circling needle which the same as the controlled group:After sterilizing the skin for treatment,insert the needle to the points mentioned before.After the arrival of qi,connect the needles to the G6805Acu-point Stimulator.Keep needles and the magnets in this way for 30 minutes,three times a week.One menstrual cycle for one period.Three periods are needed for the whole treatment.After the treatment,the clients were asked to the out-patient clinic of mammary disease for checking and assess her state of illness.3,Result:The total efficacy rate was 100%for both treatment group and controlled group.There are no statiscally significant difference in overall clinical therapeutic effect in both groups after treatment.There is statiscally difference in comparing the size of the mass on the breast after the treatment between the treatment group and the controlled group(P＜0.05).Although there are no statistical significance on the safety measure between the two groups,the side-effect happened in treatment group was 5.56%more than the controlled group.The safety of electromagnetotherapy is still under discussion due to the small sample size in this research.Owning to the result, electroacupuncture is more safety than the electromagnetotherapy.Conclusion:Both treatment group and controlled group has significant effect in treating HMG.The overall clinical effect of both method is rather the same, besides treatment group is better in minimizing the size of the mass on the breast.Electroacupuncture is more safety than the electromagnetotherapy.The safety of electromagnetotherapy is still waiting for further investigation.
