A Study On The Relationship Between The Traditional Chinese Medicine Syndrome Classification And Mechanism Of Post-Stroke Fatigue

ObjectiveStroke is one kind of common disease,which severely impaired people health in our country.Stroke is characterized by its high rate of incidance,fatality and disability.Tiredness is frequently appearance in patients who suffer from stroke,namely,the "post-stroke fatigue(PoSF)" by Literatures.The study aims at 1.To explore the relationship between PoSF and its TCM syndrome.2. To find out the connection between the degree of fatigue and its TCM syndrome. 3.TO investigate the influences on the daily rehabilitation training.Also try to reveal the substance of fatigue,and do further preparations for future research and clinical application.MethodsAccording to the literature investigation and study and the expert,be combined "Cerebrovascular disease prevention and control guidelines in China" and "Efficacy of TCM diagnosis symptoms standards",formulated unified card of the syndrome information gathering.Stroke-specific Quality of Life Scale(SS-QOL),Fatigue Severity Scale(FSS),Visual analogue scale(VAS) are recommend in the information collection forms,which detailed record the TCM syndrome and the degree of fatigue of 270 inpatients.Using the Clinical observations to establish a database for statistical analysis, draw the final conclusions.Results1.Qi deficiency with blood stagnation,Qi deficiency with phlegm stagnation and Yin and Qi both deficiency are the main syndromes of PoSF,the patients who are in severe fatigue,also belong to the first two syndromes.2.The incidence of PoSF is up to 71.85%,slightly higher than the study abroad,the performance of most of these patients should be classified as Moderate fatigue.3.The connection of PoSF and age and sex ratio is incorrelation,P＞0.05.The connection of PoSF and course of disease is correlation,P＜0.05.4.The relationship between age and course of disease,SS-QOL and course of disease,FSS and VAS are tendency to positive correlation.The relationship between FSS and SS-QOL,VAS and SS-QOL,FSS and course of disease,VAS and course of disease are negative correlation.Discussion:Qi deficiency with blood stagnation,Qi deficiency with phlegm stagnation and Yin and Qi both deficiency are the main syndromes of PoSF,for the reasons that above-mentioned,completing Qi and Yin with promoting blood and dissipating phlegm are predominantly employed in the treatment of PoSF during the rehabilitation training.
