Objective:Observe the therapeutic effect of clinical symptom and physical sign of cold-damp arthralgia syndrome of Ankylosing Spondylitis(AS) treated with the jia wei wu ji san.Elucidate initially the mechanism of prevention and cure AS by this method.Then,providsome evidence for clinical deploy.Methods:60 cases of AS were divided into two groups randomly—curing group and controlling group.Which has 30 patients.The curing group was treated with jia wei wu ji san and the controlling group was treated with Juanbi Yishen Pills.The two groups of patients with oral administration, twice a day,and 4 weeks for a course.The special treatment lasted for 8 weeks. The symptoms and physical signs treatment were observed before and after treatment.Result:The symptoms and physical signs were improved after treatment.In curing group which has 30 case in fact,the totally effecttive rate is 90.0%.There into clinical control 8 cases,display effect 13 cases,6 cases curing in effect and 3 cases curing inefficacy.While in the controlled group, the totally effective rate is 83.33%.There into clinical control5 cases,display effect 13 cases,7 cases curing in effect and 5 cases curing inefficacy.On the aspect of the totally effective rate,the curing group excelled the controlling group obviously(P<0.05).There is a significant difference between the treatment group and the control group(P<0.05).Besides,the treatment group is superior to the control group in improving patients with pain,dysfunction, clinical symptoms and signs.Conclusion:It is proved that the jia wei wu ji san treatment of ankylosing spondylitis about cold-damp arthralgia is an effective main therapeutic method in treating clinical symptom and physical sign of AS.
