Clinical Study Of Treating Verrucosa Gastritis Of Phlegm-stasis Cementation And Deficiency Of Yin With Yi-wei-xiao-you-tang

Objective:To observe the effect of Yi-wei-xiao-you-tang (YWXYT) on VerrucosaGastritis(VG)of phlegm-stasiscementation and deficiency of yin and explore the mechanism of it.Methods:63 patients with VG were divided into two groups at random:the treatment group and the control group.The treatment group was given YWXYT and the control group was given Wei-fu-chun (WFC).Symptoms and signs of each group were observed before and after the treatment,including gastroscopic observing,Hp-killing rate. Results:The treatment group's main effective rate of the syndrome of TCM,main effective rate of the gastroscopic observing and Hp-killing rate were 62.50%,53.13%,68.00%;the control group's were 19.35%,16.13%,30.77%.There is a very significant difference (P<0.01)between the two groups. YWXYT can improve more significantly the symptoms such as gasteralgia and gasteremphraxis than Wei-Fu-chun.Conclusions:YWXYT appears to be an effective drug of treating VG.The mechanism of this therapy may be related to killing Helicobacter pylori(Hp),the modulation of immunity,tone up mucous membranes and promoting blood microcirculation.
