Clinical Study On The Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome Treated With TCM And Western Medicine

Objective: To observe the effect of Tiaojingyulin Decoction with Ethinylestradiol and Cyproterone Acetate Tablet(sDiane-35) on patients with polycystic ovarian syndrome(PCOS), and investigate the effective mechanism. Methods: 60 patients with PCOS diagnosed deficiency of Kidney-Yang Deficiency were divided into two groups sandomly. Chinese and western medicine theray group(Treatment group)included 30 patients and Western medicine theray group(Control group)included 30 patients.First, the treatment were treated to menstrual cycle(Tune-week treatment), the treatment group were treated with Tiaojingyulin Decoction and Diane-35,and the control group were treated with Diane-35 only. steroid levels of follicle stimulating hormone(FSH),luteinizing hormone(LH),prolactin(PRL),estradiol(E2),testosterone(T),insulin on an empty stomach(FINS),fasting plasma glucose(FPG)and the changes of ultrasonic examination were observed prior treatment and posttreatment, the changes of clinical symptoms and signs of the patients were investigated. After three cycles of medication, the infertility patients with reproductive requirements were treated with ovulation induction, observed the changes after treatment in pregnancy. Results : The total effective rate is 90.00%,the rate of TCM Zhenghou is 76.67% ,the ovulation rate is 83.33% and the prdgancy rate is 50% in treatment group ,they are 76.67% , 50.00% ,50.00% and 25% in control group,there is significant difference between two groups (P<0.05). There is significant difference in serum LH,LH/FSH,T,FINS levels and ultrasonic examination. Conclusion : TCM-WM treatment could not only regulate the unbalanced inner-enviroment in PCOS patients from reproduction and metaboliam,but also improve clinical symptoms and signs of PCOS patients, improve the ovulation rate in patients with infertility.
