An Investigation Of The Hospital Physician-patient Relationship And Countermeasures

The aim of build a socialist harmonious society had been announced in the Party's 16th Fourth Plenary Session,and hospitals are important part in harmonious society construction.The establishment of a new type of harmony and unity modern physician-patient relationship plays a pivotal role in harmonious society as well as harmonious hospital construction.The issue of physician-patient relationship is one of the current hot topics in the community issues,this issue as well as the health care system reform issue are key issues in this year's Two Sessions.With the development of society and improvement of people's living standard,people concerned more about their mental health and health protection,requirement to health care quality and physician-patient relationship.Harmonious physician-patient relationship is not only the basic guarantee of receiving good treatment but also the needs for medical personnel development,moreover,the core of building harmonious hospital.This article contains four parts:1.First of all,the research background which including the current purpose and practical significance for research physician-patient relationship has been introduced.There are also introductions for research method and technical routes of this study.2.Analyze the survey result of physician-patient relationship from a university's Second Affiliated hospital in Xi'an.This survey mainly included four parts:the overall understanding of physician-patient relationship from patients and hospital staffs,medical ethics,doctor-patient communication and strategies to improve physician-patient conflicts.3.This part described the current status of physician-patient relationship in China,summed up the impact to various aspects from current physician-patient relationship and analyzed reasons that caused tensions to current physician-patient relationship which included three aspects:hospital-side factors,patient-side factors and social factors in which social factor is the root causes of relationship tensions.4.This part has given corresponding response to physician-patient relationship improvement from combination of survey,current status and reasons discussion. To build a harmonious relationship between doctors and patients should start consideration from five parts which are health care quality improvement,respect to patients,build up good medical ethics,enhance physician-patient communication and improvement to system.System improvement is the most important part among them,speed up the reform of Chinese medical-health system and constantly improve the basic medical insurance system are fundamental and effective ways to achieve a harmonious physician-patient relationship.
