Objective: Lonicerae and Forsythiae Powder was created by Wu Ju-tong,it was named"cool and moderate prescription"in《Mild illness strip distinguishing》which was written by Wu Ju-tong.It is an effective prescription in clinical healing.But there are two issues in applying the prescription now,one is ignored and the other one is controversial.Wu Ju-tong made expatiation about decoction time and cpalendmeans."capiating when fragrance efferens,please do not boil too much"was writened after prescription.But there is no final conclusion about what time is the best decoction time,which is the former issue.The latter one is if there is kakuda figwort root in Lonicerae and Forsythiae Powder or not.Methods:(1). 80 qualified bandicoots were randomly divided into 10 groups,i.e.,normal control group,model group,aspirin control group,Lonicerae and Forsythiae Powder boiled after 3 minutes group,Lonicerae and Forsythiae Powder added kakuda figwort root boiled after 3 minutes group,Lonicerae and Forsythiae Powder boiled after 6 minutes group,Lonicerae and Forsythiae Powder added kakuda figwort root boiled after 6 minutes group,Lonicerae and Forsythiae Powder boiled after 12 minutes group,Lonicerae and Forsythiae Powder added kakuda figwort root boiled after 12 minutes group,Lonicerae and Forsythiae Powder added kakuda figwort root boiled after 20 minutes group.There were 8 bandicoots in every group.Except for normal control,bandicoots got barm suspl 10ml/kg by hypodermic injection.Soon after bandicoots were measured BT per hour,keeping 7 hours.Bandicoots were fed with leechdom after 210 minutes and their hypothalamus were got to measure contents of cAMP.(2). 72 male rats qualified were randomly divided into 9 groups,i.e.,normal control group,model group,Lonicerae and Forsythiae Powder boiled after 3 minutes group,Lonicerae and Forsythiae Powder added kakuda figwort root boiled after 3 minutes group,Lonicerae and Forsythiae Powder boiled after 6 minutes group,Lonicerae and Forsythiae Powder added kakuda figwort root boiled after 6 minutes group,Lonicerae and Forsythiae Powder boiled after 12 minutes group,Lonicerae and Forsythiae Powder added kakuda figwort root boiled after 12 minutes group,Lonicerae and Forsythiae Powder added kakuda figwort root boiled after 20 minutes group.There were 8 rats in every group.Except for normal control,rats were posed immunity suppression model by cyclophosphamide.After lavaging Lonicerae and Forsythiae Powder to rats 7 days,the englobement clearance ability of rats'RES(reticuloendothelial system)to lazy carbo nodule in blood flow,the ability of rats'swimming endurance,and the weight of immune organ of rats were determined. Results:1.After Bandicoots fed with leechdom 30 minutes,Lonicerae and Forsythiae Powder didn't display the effect of cooling(p>0.05);After Bandicoots fed with leechdom 90 minutes,Lonicerae and Forsythiae Powder boiled after 3 and 6 minutes groups display the effect of cooling(p<0.05),so do Lonicerae and Forsythiae Powder added kakuda figwort root boiled after 3 and 6 minutes groups.Compared with Lonicerae and Forsythiae Powder boiled after 3 minutes group,Lonicerae and Forsythiae Powder added kakuda figwort root boiled after 3 minutes group has no significant difference(p>0.05).After Bandicoots fed with leechdom 150 and 210 minutes,all of Lonicerae and Forsythiae Powder groups display the effect of cooling (p<0.05),so do all of Lonicerae and Forsythiae Powder added kakuda figwort root groups.Compared with Lonicerae and Forsythiae Powder boiled after 3 minutes group,Lonicerae and Forsythiae Powder added kakuda figwort root boiled after 3 minutes group has no significant difference.Compared with Lonicerae and Forsythiae Powder boiled after 6minutes group,Lonicerae and Forsythiae Powder added kakuda figwort root boiled after 6minutes group has no significant difference.Compared with each other,Lonicerae and Forsythiae Powder boiled after 12 minutes group,Lonicerae and Forsythiae Powder added kakuda figwort root boiled after 12 minutes group and Lonicerae and Forsythiae Powder added kakuda figwort root boiled after 20 minutes group have no significant difference(p>0.05).Lonicerae and Forsythiae Powder boiled after 3 minutes group,Lonicerae and Forsythiae Powder added kakuda figwort root boiled after 3 minutes group,Lonicerae and Forsythiae Powder boiled after 6 minutes group,Lonicerae and Forsythiae Powder added kakuda figwort root boiled after 6 minutes group could cut down the contents of cAMP in hypothalamus(p<0.05).Compared with Lonicerae and Forsythiae Powder boiled after 3 minutes group, Lonicerae and Forsythiae Powder added kakuda figwort root boiled after 3 minutes group has no significant difference(p>0.05);Compared with Lonicerae and Forsythiae Powder boiled after 6 minutes group,Lonicerae and Forsythiae Powder added kakuda figwort root boiled after 6 minutes group has no significant difference(p>0.05).2.Lonicerae and Forsythiae Powder boiled after 3 minutes group,Lonicerae and Forsythiae Powder added kakuda figwort root boiled after 3 minutes group,Lonicerae and Forsythiae Powder boiled after 6 minutes group,Lonicerae and Forsythiae Powder added kakuda figwort root boiled after 6 minutes group can raise remarkably the swimming endurance ability of rats with immunity suppression (p<0.05).Compared with Lonicerae and Forsythiae Powder boiled after 3 minutes group,Lonicerae and Forsythiae Powder added kakuda figwort root boiled after 3 minutes group has no significant difference(p>0.05);Compared with Lonicerae and Forsythiae Powder boiled after 6 minutes group,Lonicerae and Forsythiae Powder added kakuda figwort root boiled after 6 minutes group has no significant difference(p>0.05). 3.All of Lonicerae and Forsythiae Powder groups and Lonicerae and Forsythiae Powder added kakuda figwort root groups can raise remarkably the englobement clearance ability of RES of rats with immunity suppression,the value of K andαwere raised up remarkably(p<0.05),which Lonicerae and Forsythiae Powder boiled after 3 minutes group,Lonicerae and Forsythiae Powder added kakuda figwort root boiled after 3 minutes group,Lonicerae and Forsythiae Powder boiled after 6 minutes group,Lonicerae and Forsythiae Powder added kakuda figwort root boiled after 6 minutes group were better.Compared with Lonicerae and Forsythiae Powder boiled after 3 minutes group,Lonicerae and Forsythiae Powder added kakuda figwort root boiled after 3 minutes group has no significant difference(p>0.05);Compared with Lonicerae and Forsythiae Powder boiled after 6 minutes group, Lonicerae and Forsythiae Powder added kakuda figwort root boiled after 6 minutes group has no significant difference(p>0.05).4.Lonicerae and Forsythiae Powder boiled after 3 minutes group,Lonicerae and Forsythiae Powder added kakuda figwort root boiled after 3 minutes group can raise remarkably the weight of thymus and spleen(p<0.05)of rats.Compared with Lonicerae and Forsythiae Powder boiled after 3 minutes group,Lonicerae and Forsythiae Powder added kakuda figwort root boiled after 3 minutes group has no significant difference(p>0.05).Conclusions: In my opinion, there is no kakuda figwort root in Lonicerae and Forsythiae Powder.
