Objective : To investigate the genetic background of multi-drug resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa in RICU. Methods: 23 strains of multi-drug resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa were isolated from hospitalized patients in RICU. Antibacterial resistance to 9 kinds of antibiotics was tested by Kirby Bauer method. The class 1 integron genetic markers qacE△1-sulI and drug-resistant gene associatedβ-lactam antibiotics were analyzed by PCR. The strains'homology were investigated by multi-genes cluster analysis. Results: The positive rates of blaTEM,blaSHV,blaIMP,blaVIM,blaDHA and qacE△1 -sulI were 34.8%,8.7%,17.4%,17.4%,26.1% ,78.3% respectively, while the expression of blaPER , blaOXA-23 , blaOXA-24 were not detected. The absent rate of OprD2 was 78.3%.The clone transmitted phenomenon maybe existed. Conclusion: Multi-drug resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa isolated in RICU has carried many resistant genes encodingβ-lactamases. The loss of OprD2 gene and integrons- gene-cassettes maybe also contribute to the drug resistance .We must pay attention to the spread of clones occurred in our RICU and high positive percentages of qacE△1-sulI in multi-drug resistant Pseudomonas isolated。...
