Objective To investigate the drug-resistant genes associated withβ-lactams in Pseudomonas aeruginosa from blood disease.Materials and Methods thirty-one strains of Pseudomonas aeruginosa were isolated from blood disease patients,K-B disk diffusion method was used in susceptibility testing ,A modified three-dimensional test was used to detect theβ- lactamase Phenotypes of 31 multidrug-resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa strains and drug-resistant genes were detected by PCR.Results1.the resistant rates of PIP,CAZ,CFS,GEN,CPZ,CIP,ATM,IMP,FEP were 32.3% ,22.6%,19.4% ,51.6%, 40.3% ,35.5%,38.7%,16.1% and 25.8%,respectively.2. In 31 strains of Pseudomonas aeruginosa, the total positive rate ofβ- 1actamase was 51.6%(16/31),the positive rate of ESBLs and AmpCβ- 1actamase were 12.9%(4/31) and 32.3% (10/31) respectively. Pseudomonas aeruginosa resistant toβ- 1actam antibiotics possessed TEM,ACTand DHA genes and lacked oprD2 gene.3. SHV,VIM, CTX-M1 and OXA genes were negative in tested isolates. Conclusion Pseudomonas aeruginosa carries various beta-lactamase genes in clinical blood disease patients.theβ- lactamase Phenotypes of 31 multidrug-resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa strains is high . TEM,ACT and DHA typeβ-lactamases and lacking the oprD2 were the resistant mechanisms to explainβ-lactam antibiotics resistance in clinical isolates of Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
