Objective:To explore the variable resistance conditions of bacteria that is one of potential factors affecting infection in hospital and standardize the testing process of the resistance testing method. To find out the suitable long-term testing method to the disinfectant resistance, test the resistance of multidrug-Pseudomonas aeruginosa by improved testing method and observe the variable resistance condition of multidrug-pseudomonas aeruginosa to disinfector through the resistance-inducing method. Methods:Using the nutrient broth dilution method to determine the MIC of milti-Pseudomonas aeruginosa that is resistant to the Peracetic acid, Glutaraldehyde,84 disinfectant, Povidone-iodine and Bromo Geramine.Determine the MBC by the nutrient broth dilution add neutralizer method, and to induce the resistance to Glutaraldehyde, Povidone-iodine and Bromo Geramine by increasing the inducing concentration. Results:Among the 23 strains multi-Pseudomonas aeruginosa, the bacterial strains of the resistance to Glutaraldehyde(one strain) and Bromo-Geramine(seven strains) were found. The multi-Pseudomonas aeruginosa's resistant to different disinfectants were different. There were no strains that can not be killed in the routine use of disinfectants. The bacterial strain that can't be killed in the routine disinfector concentration was not found. By inducing the resistance of glutaraldehyde, iodophor, bromo geramine, their resistances were all strengthened. Conclusions:There exists the condition that the resistance of multi-pseudomonas aeruginosa to common disinfector exceeds standard bacterial strain. It should be paid enough attention in that the result of being infected would be serious. The five common disinfectors selected in the research can all kill the experimental bacterial strain in the commonly recommended concentration. The proper manner on using disinfector can reach the goal of preventing infection in the hospital. Long exposure to sub-lethal dose of disinfector can induce increased resistance to the very kind of disinfector. Suggesting that in our daily disinfection work should pay attention to the use of disinfectants in sufficient dose and can not arbitrarily reduce the concentration of long-term use.
