| Objective:Discuss the correlation between different TCM syndromes of metabolic syndrome and dyslipidemia and vasomotor harm of heart , in order to find subjective index for TCM synerome differentiation of MS , meanwhile try to correlate the syndromes with dyslipidemia ,and predict the risk of occurrence of coronary artery heart disease and atherosclerosis.Subjects:1.680 patients aged 30-75 years old(254male and 426 female)who were diagnosed MS from 2005.1 to 2007.12 were investigated. The MS definition was suggested by International Diabetes Federation(IDF)in 2005(waist circumference was referenced to Asian). Patients who were identified type 1 diabetes mellitus, secondary diabetes mellitus, secondary hypertension, severe hepatic and renal disfunction as well as heart function over III grade were excluded.2.TCM snydromes of metabolic syndrome according to the Guide Book of New TCM Pharmaceutic Clinical Research(2002 edition),3.Types of the dyslipidemia suggested by National Cholesterol Education Program(NCEP) Adult Treatment Panelâ…¢(ATPIII) in 2001 includes normal plasma lipid, isolated hypercholesteremia(HC), isolated high TG,isolated low HDL-c, HC and high TG, HC and low HDL-c, high TG and low HDL-c, HC and high TG and low HDL-c.Mehtdos:1.All patients were detected TC, TG, HDL-c and LDL-c.2.Patients were observed by Color Doppler echocardiography. Patients were required to measure E and A flow of mitral valve during left ventricular diastole period to calculated the ratio of E/A.Ejection fraction(EF) was measured to estimate systolic function.3.Apply the SPSS10.0 software and the approaches of single factor variance analysis for the comparison among different syndromes of hypertension and between hypertension group and control group.Results:1.The comparison among different syndromes of metabolic syndrome shows that the increase of TG and decrease of HDL-C are most obvious in the syndrome of excessive phlegm-dampness ,having statisic difference compared with the other four groups; Except for Yin deficient the increase of LDL-C is obvious in the syndrome of metabolic syndrome.2.The research of metabolic syndrome syndromes and heart function shows that the EF in the syndrome of yin-yang defiency decreases more than the other four groups; the decrease of E/A is obvious in the metabolic syndrome syndromes, except the syndrome of excessive phlegm-dampness.3. Negative correlations were found between TC and E/A(correlation coefficient was-0.118,P=0.011) in correlation analysis.Concluslon:1.The increase of TG and the decerase of HDL-C can be applied as the subjective index for the syndrome of excessive phlegm-dampness.2. The increase of LDL-C and the decrease of EF can be applied as subjective index for the syndrome of yin-yang deficiency.3.E/A can also be applied as subjective index for the syndrome of excessive phlegm-dampness.4.Among different syndormes of hypertention, the syndrome of excessive phlegm-dampness risks highest to get coronary artery heart disease and atherosclerosis.5. TC had a strong influence on the left ventricular function... |
