Clinical Study On Shuzheng Granule In Treating The Dyslipidemia Of Metabolic Syndrome

With dyslipidemia of metabolic syndrome, pattern of phlegm turbidity obstructing criteria, patients were randomly divided into treatment and control groups. Testing before and after treatment including body mass index, fasting blood glucose, blood lipid, insulin levels, insulin sensitivity index and other indicators related to metabolism and changes in indicators of inflammatory cytokines, to observe treatment effect of Shuzheng granule on the patients with dyslipidemia of metabolic syndrome, and TCM pattern of phlegm turbidity obstructing, and approach its mechanism of action.Literature reviews:1. Metabolic syndrome is variety of metabolic and physiological disorder internal to the body, is an abnormality of various kinds of nutrients internal absorption into the body in the process, more in line with the understanding of overall change in TCM. Early performance for the metabolic syndrome mainly for phlegm-dampness, dyspeptic retention, qi stagnation, From excess to deficiency , damage the spleen and stomach function, spleen deficiency missing movement, and then the liver failing to maintain the normal flow of QI, air-disorders, which increased the syndrome of phlegm-dampness, dyspeptic retention, qi stagnation. Then falling into a stasis, damage Yang and Yin, more complication sydrome will be occurred. The patients not only more Tanshi, more Qi deficiency. The patients of the pattern are treating by the methods of tonify qi and eliminate phlegm-dampness et cetera .2. Clinical studies show that application of tonify qi and eliminate phlegm-dampness Treatment of the pattern of phlegm turbidity obstructing has got a better clinical effect.Clinical study:1. Methoods:In clinical studies, 50 cases was included by the diagnostic criteria for metabolic syndrome form the Chinese Medical Association diabetes. All the patients with a dyslipidemia(Fasting blood triglyceride TG≥1.7 mmol/L (150mg/L), and (or) fasting blood HDL-C <0.9mmol/L (35mg/dl) (F) or <1.0 mmol/L (39mg/dl) (F)). Then the 50 patients clinical diagnosis to phlegm turbidity obstructing pattern according to the TCM theroy of zheng differentiation-classification were randomly divided into two groups by the 3:2 ratio. Treatment group of 30 cases , with conventional Western medicine treatment and Shuzheng granule; the other is the control group of 20 cases, with conventional Western medicine treatment and TZDs (rosiglitazone or pioglitazone), detection of changes in the clinical indicators before and after the treatment. 2. Result: Clinical observations show, Shuzheng granule are able to significantly improve the patient's clinical symptoms, compared with the control group, significantly (P<0.05), while patients' indicators such as fasting glucose, blood lipid, insulin levels and inflammation of CRP have dropped than before treatment, there were significant differences (P<0.05), and insulin sensitivity index was significantly higher than before treatment ((P <0. 01). IT can reduce body weight, waist-hip ratio and other metabolism indicators, when compare with treatment and control groups .Research shows that: Shuzheng granule can significantly improve symptoms in treatment of metabolic syndrome of dyslipidemia with the pattern of phlegm turbidity obstructing , reduce body weight, decrease levels of blood lipids, glucose, insulin and inflammatory factors, improve the insulin sensitivity index and effectively improve insulin resistance, it is consistent with clinical reports, and be worth further study.
