A Study On The Medical Degree System In Russia

Higher education system of medicine in Russia is one of the most competent educational systems in the world, by which many outstanding scientists, scholars, and medical talents are cultivated. It takes most of the heat in the world medical education and contributes a lot to the medical development in Russia and the world as well. Over the years, the higher education in Russia has gone through changes to some extent to adapt to the new trend of education----globalization and internationalization. It remains the mode from the former Soviet Union and meanwhile takes in some elements of America or European countries. The reform of higher education of medicine in Russia focuses on the reform on learning system and degree system, and aims to bridge with the world in higher education system and convert the traditional teaching system into the system with multiple levels.The higher education system of medicine in Russia is influenced by the political and economic factors in different phases, and formed its own distinctive features in its development. For historical reasons, it is closely linked with the higher education system in our country, because the medical education system in our country is based on that of Russia, and there are something in common between the two countries in the transition from planning economy to marketing economy. The study on the Russian medical education system is helpful and of great significance to the medical development in our country.With the methodology of documents consultation, the thesis generalized the Russian higher education and analyzed its degree system from its historic reforms, medical degree education features, and the cohesion between degree education and its medical care system as well. The creative point of the thesis lies in the discussion on the Russian medical degree education, in contrast with the present situation and problems occurred in China, taking the Russian medical degree education as subject, from which a more comprehensive and realistic study on the medical degree education system in Russia is shaped.
