Objective:This experiment is to analyze the best principles and methods of compatibility of Yi-Tang-Kang by the study on Yi-Tang-Kang and its separated recipes. Thereby to provide a theoretical basis for improving traditional Chinese medicine treatment to diabetes in the group's compatibility, and for the optimization of compatibility, drug screening and forming a new compound.Method:The compatibility of Yi-Tang-Kang is divided into 15 groups by effectiveness through dismantling drug analysis, such as strengthening spleen and invigorating Qi group, nourishing yin and produce body fluid group, activating blood group, clearing heat group, and so forth. The animal models of diabetes rats are given to the administration gavage, which are made by intraperitoneal injection of STZ. Extracting ratsËŠblood of vein after the orbital in the third and sixth week after the administration respectively.Testing the ratsËŠ fasting blood glucose, triglyceride, total cholesterol and low density lipoprotein, then conducting a comparative analysis between groups.Result:The most effective group is Yi-Tang-Kang not been split, which has a good hypoglycemic and lipid-lowering effect. It is superior to those separated recipes groups. In those separated recipes groups, the strengthening spleen and invigorating Qi group, the nourishing yin and produce body fluid plus the clearing heat group have better hypoglycemic effect; the activating blood plus the clearing heat group has the role of a good improvement to TC; the strengthening spleen and invigorating Qi group, the strengthening spleen and invigorating Qi plus nourishing yin and produce body fluid plus activating blood group could improve the TG of diabetic rats; the strengthening spleen and invigorating Qi plus nourishing yin and produce body fluid plus the clearing heat group has the role of a good improvement to LDL. Comparing the decline in level of fasting plasma glucose and lipid of the third and sixth week, the most effective is Yi-Tang-Kang not been split, then the strengthening spleen and the activating blood group. The nourishing yin and clearing heat group not only fail to decrease TC of DM rats but slightly higher compared with normal group. Comparing with normal group ,the other separated recipes and Yi-Tang-Kang not been split group can significantly reduce the ratsËŠ TC. Yi-Tang-Kang not been split, the strengthening spleen, the activating blood, clearing heat, the strengthening spleen plus nourishing yin, the strengthening spleen plus the activating blood, the strengthening spleen plus clearing heat, the activating blood plus clearing heat, the strengthening spleen plus nourishing yin and the activating blood group can significantly improve ratsËŠTG and LDL compared with normal group. Conclusion: Chinese medicine compound Yi-Tang-Kang could improve blood sugar and blood lipids of DM rats, which is composed by the principle of strengthening spleen and invigorating Qi,nourishing yin and produce body fluid, clearing heat and activating blood. This shows that strengthening spleen and invigorating Qi,nourishing yin and produce body fluid, clearing heat or activating blood have a synergistic effect to blood sugar and blood lipids of DM rats. And a single treatment is difficult to achieve the best effect. It prompted that the method of compatibility, that is strengthening spleen and invigorating Qi plus nourishing yin and produce body fluid, accompanied by activating blood, has the rationality and scientific.
