| Objective To study the changes of femoral vein blood flow velocity and hemorheology by establishing an experimental rabbits model of acute hind limb ischemia,whether there is the tendency of vein thrombus formation.Methods 20 healthy rabbits were randomly divided into two groups:the sham operation group(A) and experimental group(B).Ischemia model was induced by surgical ligation of the right femoral artery in each rabbits of group B,while the rabbits of group A were treated with the same as the rabbits of group B,only their femoral artery was not ligatured. Measure the femoral vein blood flow velocity at pre-operation and 20th minute,24th hour,48th hour and 72th hour after operation;measure whole blood viscosity at shear rates of 200S-1,30S-1,5S-1,1S-1,plasma viscosity at shear rates of 200S-1,hematocrit and aggregation index of RBC at pre-operation and 24th hour,48th hour and 72th hour after operation.Results The differences of femoral vein blood flow velocity between pre-operation and post-operation in group A did not have significance in statistics,while the femoral vein blood flow velocity at 24th hour,48th hour and 72th hour after operation was much slower than it was before operation in group B(P＜0.05).Whole blood viscosity at shear rates of 200S-1,30S-1,5S-1,1S-1,plasma viscosity at shear rates of 200S-1,hematocrit and aggregation index of RBC at 24th hour,48th hour and 72th hour after operation were higher than it was before operation in group B,while the differences did not have significance in statistics in group A.All the rabbits of group B had thrombus formation in distal artery of ligation,and among them 4 rabbits had vein thrombus formation,while there was not thrombus formation in group A.Conclusions The femoral vein blood flow velocity slowed obviously and whole blood viscosity,plasma viscosity,hematocrit and aggregation index of RBC increased significantly after operation.It is suggested that it is favor of thrombosis when the limb is lack of blood distribution.
