| ObjectiveThis study was designed to investigate the expression of ER, PR, P53 in breast carcinoma, and their correlations with the full-field digital mammographic features, and to predict prognosis factor's expression, forecast of its biologic behaviors and prognosis, that instruct the clinical hormonal treatment and decide surgical treatment options.Methods85 patients with breast cancer confirmed by histopathology were involved in this study. The full-field digital mammography was performed to determine the correlation between the full-field digital mammographic features and the expression of immunochemical prognosis factor, which included ER,PR,P53. Each patient was reviewed according to BI-RADS final assessment category system. The full-field digital mammographic features were divided into mass(size, margin, shape) and microcalcification (distribution, shape).Results:1. ER positive expression rate was 57.6%, PR was 58.8%, P53 was 38.9%.2. Of the three manifestation: only mass, mass with calcification, only calcification, the positive expression of ER,PR is in descending sequence(P<0.01).3. Of the three category mass sizes: no more than 2.0 cm in size, more than 2.0 cm but no more than 3.0 cm and more than 3.0cm, the positive expression of ER, PR is in descending sequence(P<0.01)and the expression of P53 is ascending sequence(P<0.05).4. The positive expression of ER, PR in speculated mass is higher than non-speclated mass(P<0.01).5. The positive expression of ER, PR in malignant calcification group is lower than intermediate concern calcification group, and more lower than non-calcification group(P<0.01). The positive expression of P53 in malignant calcification group is higher than intermediate concern calcification group(P<0.05).6. The positive expression of P53 in breast cancers with ductal distribution calcification is higher than a cluster of calcification, and than scattering calcification(P<0.05).Conclusion:A certain correlation exists between full-field digital mammographic features and ER, PR, P53 in patients with breast carcinoma. The biologic behavior prognosis of the breast carcinoma can be assessed according to full-field digital mammographic features and to guide the clinical hormonal treatment and surgical treatment options. |
