The Clinical And The Laboratory Studies Of The Effect Of Yiyinmingmuheji (Tang) For Treatment On Glaucoma During Middle And Later Term

Objective:To observe the effect of the method of Yiyinmingmuheji(tang) for protecting the optic nerve on glaucoma during middle and later term.Methods:Nineteen cases(31 eyes) were selected.And observe the clinical therapeutic effect before and after treatment,the changes of visual acuity,intraocular pressure,visual field,et al.and analysis the result.Through the laboratory studies to abserve the changes of optic nerve's ultrastructure and the thickness of NO and SOD in serum of high intraocular pressure's adult rats,and analysis the result.Result:The visual acuity and visual feilds were significantly improved as compared with pretreatment(P＜0.001).Conclusion:1.The therapeutic effect of Yiyinmingmuheji(tang) in treatment of the patients with glaucoma during middle and later term is identified.2.The method of Yiyinmingmuheji(tang) could ameliorate microcirculation and eliminate the oxygen free radicals.Therefore it could protect the optic nerve.
