Objective: To summarize the rule of the middle and late years chronic renal failure(CRF) of the traditional Chinese medicine syndrome in Shandong region, and to analyze the distributed feature of the CRF in the different staging syndrome, and to provide reliable evidence for clinical differentiation of symptoms and signs, through the investigation about 128 patients with CRF in Shandong region. This research intended to evaluate objectively the therapeutic efficacy of the"Yiqi, Huoxue, Huazhuo"therapeutical principle treating the the middle and late years chronic renal failure and approach the mechanism of action though the clinical research. Methods:1. To approach the rule of the middle and late years CRF of the traditional Chinese medicine syndrome in Shandong region: 128 patients were internalized according to the diagnostic criteria, internalized criteria and depleted criteria of the CRF from the kidney internal medicine of the first and the second affiliated hospital of the Shandong university of Traditional Chinese Medicine during 2005-2008 years. Summarized the rule of the middle and late years CRF of the traditional Chinese medicine syndrome in Shandong region and analyzed the distributed feature of the CRF in the different staging syndrome, through recording detailed the important elements about the sex, age, course of disease, stage and clinical symptom.2. The clinical research about the"Yiqi, Huoxue, Huazhuo"therapeutical principle treating the the middle and late years CRF: 60 patients that corresponded to the internalized criteria from out-patient were randomly divided into two groups, received routine renal disease therapeutics. On the basis of this, the treating group received renal failure 2 prescription and determination of treatment based in pathogenesis obtained through differentiation of symptoms and signs, and the control group received urine poison clear bead. Observed the variance state of the laboratory index about the clinical syndrome and renal function of the two groups, at the same time carried out the safe detection.Results: 1.
