Objective: To search for the feature of Henoch-Schonlein Purpura in children, and discover the relationship among feature and differentiation of syndrome. Method: The 230 cases with HSP were retrospectively studied and patterns of onset, clinical manifestations and correlated factors of renal damage were analyzed.Acquire the data and utilize SPSS13.0 to finish statistical analysis. Analysis the feature of Henoch-Schonlein Purpura, and discover the relationship among feature and differentiation of syndrome. Establish the main ingredient to differentiate the principal syndrome. Result: 1. Patterns of onset: Most of children with HSP aged between 7 to 14 years old, the ratio of boys and girls was 1.56:1; Morbidity of HSP was high in the autumn and winter; most of the course less than a month; the most important inducing factor of HSP was Upper Respiratory Infection; the initiatory syndrome mainly was skin purpura.2.Syndrome distribution characteristics: The basic active syndrome mainly was Heat-induced Blood Extravasation(HIBE); the most common type the Upper Respiratory Infection induced was HIBE; HIBE was the main type in Ages between 7 to 14 years old; HIBE was the main type in boys.3.The major element: The results implied that the major elements to differentiate syndrome were color purple, intensive distribution, higher than the skin, both lower limbs to the main, fever and irritability, constipation, red tongue, yellow and thick fur, rapid pulse. Conclusion:Course, age, sex and inducing factor had a close relationship with the manifestation of TCM.The basic syndrome mainly was Heat-induced Blood Extravasation.
