| Objective: To observe the clinical therapeutic effect of Liangxuexiaocuoyin in treating acne vulgaris, to evaluate objectively the sexual hormone and IgA,IgG,IgM,C3,C4 in patient with acne vulgaris and to assess the effect of Liangxuexiaocuoyin on sexual hormone and Immune system.Methods: 115 patients(18-40 years old) were randomly divided into the treated group (n=57) and the control group (n=58),they were treated with Liangxuexiaocuoyin and western medicine (minocycline) respectively. Besides,50 healthy subject aged were selected as normal control . Serum levels of follicle-stimulating hormone(FSH),luteinizing hormone(LH), testosterone (T),estradiol (E2),IgA,IgG,IgM,C3 and C4 in all patients and healthy subjects as well as the clinical therapeutic effect of the treatments were observed and compared.Results: The total effective rate in the treated group and the control group was 94.8% and 74.2% respectively. Comparison between them showed significant difference. Serum level of FSH, LH in the male patients before treatment were lower than that in healthy subjects (P<0.01) ,while showed no difference between the treated group and the healthy subject after treatment(P>0.05). In the female patients, serum level of FSH, LH before treatment were lower than that in healthy subjects (P<0.01),but the T serum level was higher than that in healthy subjects (P<0.01), while showed no difference between the treated group and the healthy subject after treatment(P>0.05).There were significant difference in the serum level of IgG between before and after the treatment with Liangxuexiaocuoyin (P<0.01).Conxlusion: Liangxuexiaocuoyin had definite clinical effect in treating acne vulgaris. The therapie mechanism of Liangxuexiaocuoyin may be credited with the anti-P.acnee, changing the sexual hormone and the Immune system. |
