Objective:To observe the effect of Kunshen Granule in treating progressive gastric carcinoma and explore the principle of it. Methods:1. Clinical study: 60 patients who accorded with the diagnosis standard were separated into two groups at random: the treatment group and the control group. The treatment group was given Kunshen Granule, the control group was given Shenlian Capsule.Observe the clinical efficacy and compared the death rate of two groups. 2. Experimental study: Oral administration of MNNG to Wister rats resulted in a high incidence of gastric carcinoma. The rats were separated into six groups at random, negative control group, model group, positive control group, Kunshen large dose group, medium dose group and small dose group dose. The rats were separated into six groups at random, negative control group, model group, Shenlian Capsule control group, Kunshen large dose group, medium dose group and small dose group. Observes the influence of KS Granule in inhibiting the angiogenesis factors bFGF protein level expression of carcinomatous rats organizations experimentally induced, and analysis gray value.Result: The clinical research proved that the effective rate and therapy integral of Kunshen Granule group were obviously higher than those of Shenlian Capsule group(P<0.05). The experimental research proved that the angiogenesis factors bFGF of carcinomatous rats experimentally induced was high expressed. KS Granule can notably decline the expression of protein level. Conclusion: Kunshen Granule is a effective drug of treating progressive gastric carcinoma, it can moderate clinical symptom. The principle contains notably inhibiting the expression of angiogenesis factors bFGF of carcinomatous rats experimentally induced.
