The Research Of Infant Death Of Shandong Province In The Year 2002 To 2006

Objective:To master the causes and tendency of infant death in Shandong province, and approach effective intervention measures by collecting and analyzing the infant death information of Shandong province in the year 2002 to 2006.Methods:Collect the infant death information and analyze it retrospectively.Results:The neonate mortality of Shandong province in 2006 was 9.25‰and the infant mortality was 11.32‰.The rural neonate mortality and infant mortality was 10.59‰and 13.02‰respectively.The urban neonate mortality and infant mortality was 6.27‰and 7.52‰respectively.We can see obvious differences between rural and urban neonate mortality and infant mortality.The neonate mortality and infant mortality kept decreasing from 2002 to 2006.Most of the infant death happened in neonate stage.The causes of the infant death are premature delivery or low birth weight,birth asphyxia,inborn cardiac disease,pneumonia and emergency asphyxia.Conclusion:The infant mortality rate of Shandong province continues decreasing slowly,while the degradation velocity is slower than before from 2002 to 2006.The difference between rural and urban infant mortality was still obvious.There are many factors influencing the infant mortality rate level and tendency.In order to control and lower the infant mortality in Shandong province,the provincial government should pay more attention and make out applicable measures to solve key problems which limit declination of infant mortality.
