Investigation Of Community Nursing Work Status In Chongqing

OBJECTIVETo know influence factors in work, we investigated and analyzed the status quo of community nursing in Chongqing city . It was provided research evidences for improving community work and reinforcing community nurse education.METHODSTo know the basis state of community nursing by reviewing the spot and collecting correlate data in 9 community health service centers and 18 service stations that located urban field . Meanwhile,we investigated 104 nurses and 62 patients in community by questionnaire and interviewed 10 community nursing administrator. We analyzed interview information using thematic framework methodRESULTS1. The average age of community nurses is older than hospital nurses ; 98% community nurses are below the university academic career ; The rates of community medical institution which set up some community nursing items such as home nursing , teenager health care , cerebrovascular disorder administration and hospitalpice among all investigated community medical institution are 65.7%,25.0%,33.7 and 32.7% . There is manifest difference in dealing with community service contents such as health education, rehabilitation nursing , home nursing and chronic disease administration among nurses with different professional title(P﹤0.05);The difference is significant in dealing with community service contents among the nurses with different educational background(P﹤0.05). While the circumstance is manifest different in going in for basic medical treatment among different-age nurses(P=0.031).2.There are different level in handling every kind of community care knowledge among nurses with different educational background (p<0.05); the whole score of level in handling knowledge is different among nurses with different professional title(P=0.013). 80% nurses recognize that it is essential to cultivate these abilities of special course, coping emergent event and taking new knowledge . 78.9% nurses thought it was necessary to reinforce the abilities of predicting delitescence problems and solving problems all alone.CONCLUSION1. The community nurse allocation was not adequacy in ChongQing. The average ages of community nurse were older than clinical nurse, and community nursing items carried out were single.2. The community medical institution which can set up some community nursing items such as teenager health care , hospitalpice and so on was few . professional title and educational background are effect factors of nurse going in for different community nursing items.3. The major community nurses had educational background of university or below. Their community nursing knowledge was frail .The nurses who educational background or different professional title were lower indicated that they were not familiar with other correlation subjects. Meanwhile many community nurses had failed in general profession skill of community nursing and had not accepted normalization profession training.
