Nowadays, Medical Security is one of the most important items in the world Social Security system. With the changing of society, Medical Security issues also have been greatly concerned. Western countries earlier entered the industrialization and urbanization, the building of the Medical Security system corresponding also established earlier. Throughout the world of Medical Security system, there are many models we should learn from, such as Germany as the representative of "Social Health Insurance Model", the United States of "Commercial Medical Insurance Model", Singapore's "Personal Medical Savings Model", the UK's "National Health Service Model" etc. However, "British Model" for its unique security concept and strict management system were emulated by many countries in the world.In this paper, author analyses UK "National Health Service" (or NHS) system in depth from the theoretical foundation, history, organizational structure, status and trends, and trying to show a good system should have the conditions.China's Medical Security system formatted the urban and rural "dual" Medical Security situation, which is "urban health care system" and "the new rural cooperative medical care system", because of historical reasons. The Medical Security model of urban and rural differences, seriously affected people's quality of life, and the model faced tremendous challenges. After several decades of development, China's Medical Security system is still flawed, seriously lagged behind in economic development, the urgent need for reform and innovation.In a period of reform of Medical Security of China, the paper tried to analyze NHS system of the UK, which provides a new theoretical and practical perspective at this stage of China's Medical Security system reform.
