Objective: Through the investigation and the statistical analysis of Dalian female primary breast cancer patients to explore the related risk factors that affect the occurrence of breast cancer, provide reference for the prevention of breast cancer. Methods: A 1:1 matched case-control study was carried out in Dalian including 200 cases with breast cancer and 200 controls. Data were analyzed with Chi-square test, nonparametric test and the conditional Logistic regression, then calculated the Odds Ratio and the 95% confidence. Cases were chosen from patients in hospital who had diagnosed breast cancer in nearly one or two years. According to the principle of 1:1 matched case-control study, controls were paired to cases with age that younger or older 3 years old, and cases must be non-cancer, no endocrine system disease non-benign breast disease and no Gynecology department disease patients. Cases and controls were requested must have lived in Dalian more than 10 years. Results: Through the Conditional logistic regression analysis we found that high physique index, contact professional deleterious substance, not used the environmental protection material in repair, high tension line around living environment and work place, passive smoking history, stays up late, big breast, the bra is excessively tight, the bra to have the wheel rim, sleeps wearing bra, the injured history of breast, long feeding time, the penicillin allergy history, the directly-related family members have tumor history, ten years ago the intake much of pork, chicken , duck ,goose meat and oil, experienced negative event, have the pressure in living and working, pessimistically, easily angry , do not like communicate with people, bad mood adjustment ability and so on are risk factors of breast cancer; The physical training, long menstrual cycle, number of children, much term birth, feeding much children, catch cold, ten years ago intake more fruit and the milk product are protective factors of breast cancer. The multi-factor conditional logistic regression analysis result showed: Ten years ago around the unit has the high tension line, the physical training, stays up late, sleeps wearing the bra, first menstruation age, number of children, the injured history of breast, catch cold, tumor history of directly-related family member, ten years ago the intake of fruit, pork and the offshore shell, adjustment mood ability affects the occurrence of breast cancer. Conclusion: Breast cancer is the result of many factors. It was related to occupation contact, environmental pollution, behavior habit and food intake, genetic background and psycho-characteristic and so on. We should adopt the comprehensive nature and the target-oriented measure for the prevention of breast cancer.
