Objective:The purpose of this research was to understand the relationship between hyperuricemia and coronary heart disease. Methods:Chose 104 cases of patients diagnosed as coronary heart disease(CHD group)by coronary angiography were compared with 86 cases exclusive of coronary heart disease(NCHD group-Control group).Family history, history of smoking, diabetes and hypertension of both group were recorded in detail.Wrote down their serum uric acid, blood glucose and serum lipid concentration.Results:(1)Serum uric acid concentration in CHD group was markedly higher than NCHD group (P<0.05).(2)Rate of hyperuricemia in CHD group was markedly higher than NCHD group(P<0.05).(3)Logistic analysis showed that, coronary heart diseases are significantly associated with serum uric acid concentration(P<0.05).Conclusion: Hyperuricemia has close relationship with CHD,and is an independent risk factor for CHD.
