| "Shan Han Lun Jin Yan" was written by the Qing Dynasty Therapist He Mengyao who was well- known in Lingnan area. He Mengyao was born in Qing Dynasty Kangxi 31 years (1692), and died in Qianlong 29 years(1764),The age of 72-year-old. He wrote more than ten medical books all his life which was an enormous wealth to Lingnan area. Among of his medical books, "Yi Bian" was the most well-known one, and modern researchers study his medical academic thoughts all through this book. But there's too little researchers took theirs on "shang han lun jin yan" , which was also of good values. The book was one of the earliest special research on "shang han lun" . But it was not widely speaded because of it was non-published. In Qing Qiandao times , it was already less speaded until Republic China when the Guangdong College of Chinese Medicine published an magnize named "Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine" .From the third stage to the sixth stage, there was some contents of "Shan Han Lun Jin Yan" , so we can see this book now. The subject was based on this to collation, punctuation and research in order to make out a best version. And then induct and summary his medical academic thoughts especialt in "Shang Han" combined with his other books and related researches.The subject includes two parts. one is collation and punctuation on "shang han lun jin yan" ; the other is induct and summary his medical academic thoughts especialt in "Shang Han" . The concrete methods as followings.Firstly,the subject has been done bysearching the chues through newspaper, magzine, index, the library biography, correlative books and on-line searching etc. The interrelated date has completely collected and obtained some xerocopies of "shang han lun jin yan" .Secondly, collate and punctuate the book according to the "Regulation of Cheching and Annotating Ancient books of TCM" . For achieving the reliability of the collation, the original and the scenario are selected. The part stored in Sun Zhongshan literature libreary which are embodied in "Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine" is selected as the original. The exrocopy is selected as the main scenario. Then after making clear the meaning of the original text,new punctuation exchanged the original periods and commos, and the wrong ones are corrected at the same time.Thirdly, induct and summary his medical academic thoughts in "Shanghan" fields, then combined with his other books and related researches, we can have a whole impression of his medical academic thoughts. As the basic diagnostic technology of TCM, Four diagnostic methods are paid great attention to. And there is also a book talked about it specially. He also has a detailed explaination in using of TCM. In "Shanghan" aspect, he thinks than different prople has different manifestations. The order of Meridian transmission is not very strictly, we can not strickle in it, the treatment is also follow this principle. He also suspect the classics, because they are written by others not Huangdi.Finally, through the study of this book and its academic thoughts, we can find that He Mengyao is an expert in "Shanghan" fields.
