PurposeThe paper discusses the main elements and analyzes the status quo of the authors'academic level of clinical nursing teaching materials for undergraduate ; establish the systematic, scientific, proper evaluation index system ,on the basis to run data validate research in order to provide the reference for related government departments to assess the quality of the teaching materials and choose the authors.ObjectAuthors of clinical nursing teaching materials for undergraduate;MethodsConsulting the documents, analyzing the theories, interviewing experts, the paper discusses theory basis and basic principle for evaluating the authors'academic level of clinical nursing teaching materials, then drafts the indexes and defines their connotation; selects the indexes by Delphi method; weighs the importance of the evaluation index system by analytic hierarchy process (AHP) ;tests and analyzes the reliability and feasibility of the index system by the method of mathematical statistics; Date was analyzed with Excel 2003 and the SPSS 15.0.Results1. The paper has established the hierarchical evaluation index system which include 3 first-class indexes, 23 second-class indexes, 51 third-class indexes,the 3 first-class indexes are professional knowledge basis index, teaching index, researching index; after consulting the experts twice, the coefficient of variation of the indexes tends to decrease, and the coordination coefficient tends to increase, this shows that the experts gradually agree with the indexes of the evaluation system,the indexes choosed are reasonable.2. The weight value of all the classes index have been ascertained by the method of analytical hierarchy process(AHP).The weight value of the first-class indexes are separately: 0.559, 0.352,0.089.,then work out the combination weight by the principle of probability multiplication.3. The experts selection are reasonable, the reliability of the survey is good. The article shows that the export group is more representative, hierarchical, and authoritative by analyzing their basic condition and their authority; the questionnaire return ratios are: 62.9%, 76.4%, the experts who give constructive advice account for 32.4%, the experts who accept the result account for 71.4%, all these show that the exports are more enthusiastic and concerned about the research; the exports'coordination coefficients about the survey are 0.232, 0.379(P<0.01), which shows that the survey result is advisable.4. Through reliability analysis of the experts \face validity\content validity and so on indicate the evaluation index system has good reliability and validity.5. The reliability of the results is high.The scores of the clinical teaching materials separately are6.18,43.6,48.4,7.22 and 12.1。Conclusion1.The article has established the evaluation index system of the authors'academic level of clinical nursing teaching material for undergraduate. The assessing system covers widely, efficient, and reliable; the article has chosen the proper assessing indexes, used scientific methods to weigh the importance of the index system; the reliability of index system is high; the assessing results can all be qualified for further analysis.2.The reliability and feasibility of the evaluation results are high。Suggestion1. Taking the academic level of authors into consideration when evaluating the quality of teaching materials and selecting the authors of nursing teaching materials.2. Pay more attention to the basic knowledge structure of the authors and the teaching experience related to the teaching material and the outputs of the teaching etc.3. Pay attention to the cultivation of the authors'teaching ability and science ability in order to enhance the anthors'academic level,especially to the teaching research ability. Originality in this studyStudying the authors of clinical nursing teaching materials for undergraduate as a whole and established the evaluation index system model,pefect and make up the deficience in the evaluation of nursing teaching materials.Assumption for future study1. To further perfect the evaluation indexes;2. To establish the dynamic document database of the authors'academic level of nursing teaching materials;3. To use computer to help evaluate the authors'academic level, so the assessing process could be simplified.
