Expression Of Interleukin-18 In The Endometrium Of Women With Endometriosis

Objective :To detect the expression of IL-18 in ectopic and eutopic endometrium of women with endometriosis. To explore the reference IL-18 and pathogenesis of endometrisis. To provide important information for early diagnosis and prognosis, and provide theory foundament for perspective treatmentMethods: To detect the expression of IL-18 in endometrium ,endometriotic tissue of EMS,and control group by the means of Immunohistochemistry.Results: 1 The expression of IL-18 in glandular epithelium cell of endometrium is stronger than stroma cell in the above-mentioned three groups .2 The expression of IL-18 in secretory phase is stronger than Proliferative phase in both endometrium of control group and endometriotic tissue of EMS(P < 0.05). The expression of IL-18 is not different in secretory phase and Proliferative phase of endometrium of EMS(P>0.05).3.The expression of IL-18 in endometrium of EMS is weaker than endometriotic tissue group(P < 0.05),and is weaker than control group(P < 0.05).Conclusion: The expression of IL-18 in both endometrium and endometriotic tissue of EMS is weaker than endometrium of control group,and the expression of IL-18 in endometrium of EMS is weaker than endometriotic tissue of EMS. it is indicated that the weaker expression of IL-18 is correlated with EMS. IL-18 maybe the one significance fact in the formation and development of EMS. The different expression of IL-18 in above-mentioned three group provide important information for early diagnosis and prognosis,and provide theory foundament for perspective treatment.
