Comparative Analysis Of Life Expectancy In Jiangsu Province And In Inner Mongolia

Objective:This study is carried out to find out the present status of life expectancy in Jiangsu province, Inner Mongolia and the national in 2000, comparative analysis the differents of life expectancy in Jiangsu province and in Inner Monglia.Methods:Based on the data of the Fifth Census of China in 2000, we made abridged life tables of Jiangsu province, Inner Monglia and the national, descriptive analysis the life expectancy of the region of the city, town, rural; male / female respectively .Results:It is found through this study that life expectancy of the national,Jiangsu province and Inner Monglia in 2000 was the city higher than the town, the town higher than the rural. By means of vertical and horizontal comparison , life expectancy in Jiangsu province was higher than in Inner Mongolia. The results of comparative analysis of life expectancy of 65 years old was the same ,but the differences are reduced.Life expectancy in Jiangsu province was 4.78 years older than Inner Monglia in 2000, life expectancy in city in Jiangsu was 3.79 years older than city in Inner Monglia, life expectancy in town in Jiangsu was 4.00 years older than town in Inner Monglia, life expectancy in rural in Jiangsu was 5.23 years older than rural in Inner Monglia, the maximal differences in the rural.Conclusions: The life expectancy of the region of the city, town, rural in Jiangsu province was higher than Inner Monglia in 2000.
