Methods:Make the model of rats by high-fat and high-sugar feedstuff and STZ. The model group rats are fed different silkworm and five weeks later,serum lipids level and blood glucose are measured.According to the blood glucose level,the rats were divided into six groups:normal groups,control group,low,medium,high dose therapeutic groups and positive control group.In the first,the sixth,the tenth,the twelth week,the relevant indexes about serum lipids level and blood glucose and MDA level,we killed the rats at the end of the last week,got the rats' liver and pancreas.Results:(1)In the 10thweek,serum TG,TC and LDL-C level of 3 therapeutic groups were significantly lower than the hyperglycemia rats group.These changes lasted to the end of experiment.(2)In the 10thweek,compared with model group, serum HDL-C level of the medium and high dose therapeutic groups were significantly increase.However,there has no remarkable differences between the low dose therapeutic group and the model group.(3)The rats blood glucose of 3 therapeutic groups decrease significantly,what's more,high doses of hypoglycemic effect more obvious.That is to say,they had dose dependency.(4)pancreas MDA level in medium and high dose therapeutic groups were significantly lower than in hyperglycemia group.Conclusion:(1)Pupa extract can effectively lower blood glucose and has a certain dose-dependent manner.(2)Pupa extract can reduce serum lipids,therefore,it is best to take preventive measurements to treat heperlipoidemia.(3)Pupa extract can reduce serum and pancreas.MDA,made an important role to protect diabetic from oxidative damage.
