As Chinese socio-economic development and extension the average life expectancy, the number of patients suffering malignant bone tumor is gradually increasing.Nearly 20 to 30 years, the treatment of malignant bone tumor made significant progress, particularly MTX,ADM,DDP,and other high-dose drug applicate in integrated chemotherapy, many studies show that patients with the disease-free survival rates have significantly improved. Therefore, chemotherapy is no longer tolerate, negative way,but not only to kill the primary tumor cells, but can also make the primary narrowing, hardening, limb salvage surgery for advanced treatment.Chemotherapy would lead to a variety of side effects, including bone marrow suppression to the most serious consequences, often leading to the failure of chemotherapy.Finding non-toxic and highly effective drugs to reduce bone marrow suppression has become the focus of attention of the world, and Chinese medicine has just filled the gap very well. The prescription is formed by the guiding ideology below:Bu Shen Jian Pi Yi Qi Fu Zheng Gu Ben supported by Hua Yu San Jie Huo Xue Tong Luo.Clinical use of more than 10 years, works very well, but lack of Evidence-Based Medicine to support.By means of multi-dimensional observation of the prescription, conducting a systematic evaluation and analysis of attenuated synergies.Destination:Correct evaluating the prescription the safety of the patients with malignant bone tumor after chemotherapy to reduce the role of bone marrow suppression, and analysis if it can improve the patients the quality of life of malignant bone tumor after chemotherapy or not.Method:Collecting the patients in hospital who have malignant bone tumor and are consistent with the research standard during March 2006 to March 2008.A prospective, randomized controlled study ways to set up the experimental group of Chinese medicine and western medicine + medicine control group.Observing before and after chemotherapy the intervention of the prescription:1.WBC,RBC,Hb,PLT and CD4~+/CD8~+;2.The dosage of leucocyte increasing agent;3.Liver and kidney function, urine routine; 4.Life quality score;5.The physical strength and sign score.Result:There are comparability between the two groups, before and after chemotherapy the results are as follows:Men's CD4~+/8~+ average is higher than women(P<0.05),but the gender of the sensitivity of chemotherapy is the same(P>0.05);The prescription does not have side effects to liver and kidney function(P>0.05);Malignant bone tumor patients generally suffer from mild anemia, anemia in chemotherapy will further increase(P<0.05),the prescription can reduce the rate of decline in Hb(P<0.05); Two groups' Kf score,CD4~+/8~+ significantly decrease(P<0.05)after chemotherapy, physical signs score was significantly higher(P<0.05),and the prescription can significantly reduce Kf points,CD4~+/8~+ decline in the rate(P<0.05);The prescription can reduce the dosage of leucocyte increasing agent(P<0.05).Conelusion:1.The number of male patients is more than women,2.The immunity of male who has malignant bone tumor is better than female, but there are no significant difference between them;3.The prescription is non-toxic,safty,but the mechanism is needed further research and analysis,4.Malignant bone tumor patients generally have mild anemia, the body is weak;5.The more times the patient treated, the more serious bone marrow suppression;6.The prescription can improve the patients' quality of life, and enhance the.compliance,so it can lead to better completement of treatment programmes,to achieve better purpose of killing cancer cells; 7.The prescription can reduce the dosage of leucocyte increasing agent.
