PurPose: To investigate The RelationshiPs between the HPV infection and Race suscePtibility in the Carcinogenensis of Uygur Women with Cervical cancer from the Xinjiang which the high risk region of cervical cancer. Method: To detect 21 subtyPes of HPV and the HLA 13 alleles from 300 cervical cancer cases and 300 normal tissues, by using flow-through hybridization and gene chiP (HybriMax) method and Polymerase chain reaction sequence-sPecific oligonucleotide method (PCR-SSO). Results: 1) The Positive rate of HPV in cervical cancer and control grouP were 86.3%and 6.67%resPectively;HPV16 was the most common tyPe in HPV Positive cervical cancer Patients with the rate of 93.82%, following were HPV18 (5.02%), HPV68(3.86%), HPV45 (2.70%), HPV58 (2.32%), HPV39(1.93%), HPV31(1.16%), HPV56(1.16%) In cervical cancer and control grouP, The Positive rate of HPV and HPV16 were significantly higher than that in control grouP. 2) The frequency of HLA-DRB1*15 in cervical cancer was significantly higher than that the control grouP OR>1 ( x 2=8.021 P值0.005 OR=1.692 95%CI=1.172~2.442), while the frequency of HLA-DRB1*03 was was significantly lower than that the control grouP OR<1( x 2=5.832 P值0. 016 OR=0.635, 95%CI=0.438~0.920); The frequency of other HLA alleles have no statistical differences between the cervical cancer grouP and the control grouP. 3)In cervical cancer grouP, the frequency of HLA-DRB1*12 in HPV/HPV16 Positive cervical cancer was significantly higher than that the HPV negative cervical cancer. Conclusions: 1)HPV16 was the most common tyPe in both cervical cancer and control grouP, The frequency of HPV16 in cervical carcinomas was very high, It aPPears that HLA-DRB1 15 may Play imPortant role in the Uygur women that suscePtibility to cervical cancer, while the decreased frequency of HLA-DRB1*03 may be the Protective gene to cervical cancer and the HLA-DRB1*12 the suscePtive gene of Uygur women to HPV/HPV16 infection. These factors were maybe the reasons of high incidence of cervical cancer of Xinjiang Uygur women, The role of HLA alleles in the carcinogenesis of cervical carcinomas may Play a imPortant role in the interference research of cervical cancer.
