Objective: To analyze the frequency distribution of HLA-DRB1 alleles in Xinjiang area, and to explore the relationship between HLA-DRB1 and cervical cancer.Methods:100 cases of cervical cancer patients(37 cases Han patients,63 cases Uygur patients)and 188 healthy controls(including 91 cases of Han healthy controls and 97 cases of Uygur healthy controls)were selected,HLA-DRB1 alleles were detected by polymerase chain reaction/sequence specific primers.According to different factors, alleles frequency were compared, and furthermore the relationship between the HLA-DRB1 and short-term curative effect and prognosis of cervical cancer also be explored.Results:(1)People in Han and Uighur all carry the same 13HLA-DRB1 alleles;(2)The HLA-DRB1*01 gene frequency in Han healthy control group was significantly lower than the Uygur healthy control group, the HLA-DRB1*09,HLA-DRB1*12 gene frequency in Han healthy control group were significantly higher than Uygur healthy control group, the differences were all statistically significant(P<0.05).The gene frequency of HLA-DRB1*07 in Han cervical cancer group was significantly lower than that of Uygur cervical cancer group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).(3)the gene frequency of HLA-DRB1*15 in Han cervical cancer group was significantly higher than that of Han healthy control group in Xinjiang, the gene frequency of HLA-DRB1*04 patients in Uygur cervical cancer group was significantly lower than the Uygur healthy control group, the gene frequency of HLA-DRB1*07,HLA-DRB1*11 in Uygur cervical cancer group were significantly higher than Uygur healthy control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).(4)The gene frequency of HLA-DRB1*12 in HPV16 positive cervical cancer groupwas significantly lower than that of HPV16 negative group,The gene frequency of HLA-DRB1*04 in squamous cell carcinoma group was significantly higher than that of non squamous cell carcinoma group,The gene frequency of HLA-DRB1*11 in less than 52 year old age cervical cancer group was significantly lower than those of ?52 age group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).(5)the HLA-DRB1 allele and the recent curative effect and prognosis of cervical cancer has no obvious relationship.Conclusion:(1)People in Han and Uighur carry the same HLA-DRB1 alleles;(2)There was a great difference in the distribution of HLA-DRB1 alleles between the Han and Uygur, and the same alleles played different roles in different nationalities.(3)HLA-DRB1*15 may be a susceptible gene of cervical cancer in Han population;HLA-DRB1*07,HLA-DRB1*11 may be susceptible gene of cervical cancer in Uygur population;HLA-DRB1*04 may be a protective gene of cervical cancer in Uygur population.(4)cervical cancer patients carrying HLA-DRB1*12 allele may be less likely to carry HPV16 infection;cervical cancer patients carrying HLA-DRB1*04 may be more likely suffer from moderately differentiated squamous cell carcinoma;Cervical cancer patients with HLA-DRB1*11 allele are more likely to develop in the middle and old age.(5)there was no significant correlation between the HLA-DRB1 allele and the therapeutic effect and prognosis of cervical cancer.
