Objective: To study treatment compliance, quality of life, the status quo of Kazakhs patients with hypertension in Urumqi Nanshan pastoral area; discuss factors which have an influence on treatment compliance of Kazakhs patients with hypertension in Urumqi Nanshan pastoral area; study the relationship between treatment compliance and quality of life, society support. Methods: By using random cluster sampling method,we selected 900 cases Kazakhs patients with hypertension as research objects whose settled or semi-settled male and female Kazak Herdsmen.Carried on a thorough survey and research for their treatment compliance status and it's influencing factors?quality of life?society support. Results: 1) Treatment compliance situation: patients with good medication compliance, accounted for 4.1 percent among all of them; patients with good out-patient follow-up rate,accounted for 3.9 percent; all five good compliances only accounted for 2.3 percent.The influencing factors of treatment compliance showed that: age ?complicated treatment programme?etc, all of these factors have a highly significant impact on treatment compliance. 2) The quality of life score of Kazakhs patients with hypertension in Urumqi Nanshan pastoral area generally accounted for 413.98±146.31, among these percentile, The quality of life score of patients with good treatment compliance was higher than the quality of life score of patients with poor treatment compliance. 3) Correlation Analysis: medication compliance and all factors of quality of life (r=0.14~0.20), three dimensions and their total scores of society support (r=0.18~0.20) were positively correlated; out-patient follow-up and all factors of quality of life were negatively correlated (r=-0.11~-0.13), they and three dimensions and their total scores of society support were positively correlated (r=0.11~0.13); the compliance of quit smoking etc,five kinds of lifestyle and all factors of quality of life (r=0.11~0.21), were positively correlated (r=0.12~0.17). Conclusion: 1) Nursing staffs can promote their quality of life of hypertensive patients by the way of monitoring the treatment compliance. 2) Nurses should help hypertensive patients striving for the support from society and family to improve their treatment compliance. 3) The results can also be used as a reference for community intervention study.
