With the deepening of our nation's Health Care system's reform, the traditional urban community hospitals (degree one's hospital) are changing into community health care service centers gradually. The new type of primary one rises up new requests for managerial talents.The managerial talents in community health care take on important tasks, including industry criterion, talents training and subject development. It plays a great role in promoting the professional skills and scientific levels of subordinate staff, improving the community health care service's quality and deploying other new business. But the current situation isn't positive.Due to the technism oriented supply channel of our nation's managerial talents in this field, it's a real difficult how to select the managerial talents scientifically and objectively.This research is based on McClelland's Competency Theory. The main research tools are the Behavioral Event Inte rview (EBM) and Characters Dictionary, which are originated from McClelland's Competency Theory. With the combination use of Meta Analysis and other qualitative research methods--Expert Method, Observation Method, Questionnaire Survey, Statistical Analysis, Focus Group and Delphi Method, it has a survey on the competency of managerial talents in Shanghai community health service and builds up the models about it. In order to reach the goals, it interviewed 13 experts, got 57 effective questionnaires and held twice expert's demonstration meetings with 18 experts totally.It establishes"The Competency Model of Managerial Talents in Shanghai Community Health Service"--including the Theoretic Model and 4 application models. These models interpreted the senior and mid-junior managerial talents'competency models in this field from the selective standard and the general standard. These application models include 16 character items, 33 evaluation angles and 33 classic behavioral descriptions in McClelland's competency dictionary.The first part of this discourse put up and explained the meaning of the topic systematically. The second is the Meta analysis to the research foundation. For the purpose of assuring the scientific rationality, the third introduces the process of research with the necessary explanation of technical routine details. The fourth is the explanation of research results and related details. At last, it is the brief summary on the significance of the research and its results.
