AreneriaKensuensisVarOvatipetalaTsui also names Herb arenariae, which is wild altiplano plant. It is caryophyllaceae sandwort and perennation cushionl herb. Also it grows at 4000-500m above the sea level in alpine meadow and swallet. The height of the plant is just 4-5cm, and its main root is strong while the bottom rootlet is diligency. The shape of its leaf is acicular and the length is 1-2cm.Also the diameter of the cushion body achieve at 15-20cm around. Branches and leaves compress at low leaves. The colour of the flower is white either pink and it is seed multiplication. Herb arenariae distributes abroad Qinghai Tibet plateau and the reaource is quite abundant. It is a sort of traditional Tibetan drugs and can be used as herb medicine. Its nature and flavour is sweet-cold and its functions are cleaning heat, relieving cough, decreasing blood pressure, anteing anoxia, curing every kinds of pneumonitis and lung diseases, depressing cancer and immunore gulation and so on.. Now there are some reports about the Herb arenariae efficacy of anteing anoxia but there is no report of scathing function on anti-weary. So the herb dried powders from Tibet Jinzhu pharmaceutical factory is choised. We adopt the way of pouring to feed the rats in order to observe the study of Xue lingzhi on anti-exercise-inducea fatigue in ratsThe 40 Wistar rats were randomly divided into herb arenariae group and normal saline group, and feed for three days. then they adamptation swimming a week, The second week the herb arenariae group were feed AreneriaKensuensisVarOvatipetalaTsu(ithe dosage were 250,500,1000mg/kg),the normal saline group were feed the same volume saline solution. After one month swimming trains, Taking the brain tissue of the rats. Determine the levels of MDA,SOD,LD and NO,CK,BUN,GSH-Px,ATP,muscleglycogen in brain bemispheres, observe and comparative restoration condition about two fatigue groups. Resout: Comparative herb arenariae group and normal saline group, exhaustive exercise time significantly prolonged, the levels of MDA,LD,NO,CK,BUN in brain bemispheres decreased, SOD,GSH-Px,ATP,muscleglycogen activity increased. We find that herb arenariae has evident effects on ischemia-reperfusion and its mechanism may be realized through free radical effectively.Therefore, Xue lingzhi (Herb arenariae)have the ability of anti -exercise-inducea fatigue and urge fatigue restoration. and new way for Chinese traditional medicine treating exercise-inducea fatigue.
