GDM is significant disease of threatening the human health, The scholar and clinician pay close attention to GDM because increaseing year by year and, harmful to the pregnant woman and the baby. On the clinical overwhelming majority GDM woman does not have any symptom, once the symptom appears, the harm has formed to the mother and baby, therefore early detection, early diagnosis, early treatment to GDM is very important.To study the epidemiology of the pregnant woman and to grasp distribution, characteristics and influential factors of GDM in Changchun Auto Industry Development Zone, to provide a theoretical basis of prevention and treatment GDM.Purpose: To investigate the incidence of GDM in women of Changchun Auto Industry Development Zone, and search associated key factors with GDM development, to provide theoretical basis for early find, diagnoses and treatment.Method: to collect 857 general, clinical data of the pregnant woman who accepts examination in China FAW Group Corporation Hospital, glucose tolerance tests had been done on these pregnant women and 75g oral glucose tolerance test(OGTT) be formed on those with positive results.Use the SPSS Ver.12.0 software to analyse these information. Result:1.The incidence rate of unusual blood glucose in pregnant women is 20.37% (174/854), the incidence rate of gestational impaired glucose tolerance(GIGT) is 1.75%, The incidence rate of gestational diabetes mellitus(GDM) is 1.28%, the total incidence rate of GDM is 3.03%;2.Single factor analysis showed these factors such as, age, BMI, diabetes family history, these are correlated with emergence of GDM;.Multifactor logistic analysis also showed the 3 following factors diabetes family history, age, BMI,these are correlated with GDM.Conclusions:The incidence rate of GDM in Changchun Auto Industry Development Zone is the same as in other domestic areas BMI, diabetes family history and age are extremely risk factors to GDM. So enhancing the screening of GDM is very miportant for the pregnant women having the above high risk factors. Early detection, early diagnosis, early treatment, system management are better to the pregnant woman and the baby and population character.
