ObjectivesTo evaluate the consequence of annularligament damaged which was reconstructedby fascialate femoris to treat the chronic radial head dislocation in children.MethodsAges was from 5 years to 14 years, time of the operation was from 6 months to 5years after injury. The 24 cases with chronic radial head dislocsation were treated inshengjing Hospital affiiated China Medical University, the range of age of patientpost-operation function of elbow was observed and analysised restrospectively.Results11 cases were followed up, the average follow-up time was 5 years and 9months, 6 cases of them was affected in different degree in the rotation function offorearm. The average degree of pronation of forearm was decreased 33°, spinationwas decreased 36°, 4 of them with flexion and extension affected, the average degree ofextension of forearm decreased 21°, but the flexion was not affected obviously, 2cases were sublocation of radial head, 1 case was damaged ulnar nerve slightly, 4 caseswere found with kirschner wire fractured.ConclusionsIf the age of patients is more than 13 years old and the time of dislocation is more2 years, the operation should not be applied. Fascialate femoris was a replacement ofannular ligament which was damaged in trauma, it fix tightly, but the progress can increas the risk of injury.
