| Objective:to observe the effects of Preventing and Curing Diabetic Retinopathy with Tang Shiqing Misture which is based on supplementing qi and nourishing yin> dissipating phlegm and removing blood stasis,detoxicating diacollaterals and approaching the mechanism of action. Methods: According WHO and our country' relative rules set up the diagnosing and resulting standards about Diabetic Retinopathy. 60 patients with Diabetic Retinopathy are divided into two groups by random . Among these patients , test group(n=30)were treated by Tang Shiqing Misture. Control group(n=30)were treated by Tang Maikang, two months was a course of treatment. After 60 days, the experiment index (symptoms,vision,examination of fundus,blood glucose> HbAlc,Blood Lipid,BloodRheology,UAER,UroP 2-MG,TNF-a,IL-6)were compared to those in begining. Results:The clinical study showed that①Tang Shiqing Misture can improve the clinical eye symptoms obviously, and the effection is better than the control group (P<0. 05)②it improves vision, and the effection is better than the control group (P<0. 05)③it could effectively faciles the absorption of blooding and exudation of the eye infectous focus much better than the control group (P<0. 05)④it descends FBG,2hPG,HbAlc⑤it descends Blood Lipid⑥and it descends Blood Rheology markbly⑦it descends the UAER,β2-MG markbly ?it descendsTNF-α,IL-6 markbly. There is significant difference between the test group and the control group. (P<0. 01) Conclusion: Fang Shiqing Misture had good therapeutic efficacy in DR, it could effectively improve the clinical eye symptoms, vision , faciling the absorption of blooding and exudation of the eye infectous focus, descend the UAER,β2-MG, Blood Lipid,Blood Rheology > TNF-α,IL-6 markbly. The method of supplementing qi and nourishing yin,dissipating phlegm and removing blood stasis,detoxicating and diacollaterals can prevent and cure Diabetic Retinopathy effectively. So it is worthy of further research.
