| Objective: To observe the clinic curative effect of chronic prostatitis(CP)treated Chinese herbal medicine Qian Lie shuang. Method: In clinic study,prostst combined antibiotic, as positive drugs,60 patients were divided avera-gely into two groups at random. The treatment group were treated by traditional Chinese herbal Medicine "Qian lie shuang"; the control group were treated by Chinese Patent Drugs "Longqing Tablet". After one month, the symptoms and physical signs were observed, the EPS—WBC, residual urine volume and the Interleukin-6 (IL-6) were detected. Results: (1)In the treatment group(29 cases),7 case cure, 18 cases effect, the total effective rate was 82.76%;in the control group(31cases), 3 cases cure, 17 cases effect,the total effective rate was 64.51%.Through with Ridit test, (u=2.0807,P=0.0165), the difference between the two group was significance,which showed that the effect of Qian lie shuang was better than the control group in treatment. (2)As for the number of WBC, the treatment group also had an obvious statistics difference than the control group (t=5.36, P=0.0000). (3)The difference of The residual urine (Ru)between the treatment group and the control group was no statistically significant (t=0.48, P= 0.2767). (4)AS for The IL-6 in blood serum the treatment group also had no statistically significant than the control group(t=0.4, P=0.6913). Conclusion: The Qian lie shuang can obviously lighter the clinical symptoms and physical signs of The CP; the Qian lie shuang can inhibit inflammatory reaction,enhance immune function and lower succus prostaticus WBC quantity;The Qian lie shuang can improve uroflometry and remit spasm in urethra. The results showed that the effect of Qian lie shuang was better than Longqing Tablet.
