Investigation Of Cytokines And IgE In Patients With Sinile Pruritus

Objective:To study the role of IFN-r,IL-2,TNF-a,IL-4,IL-6 and IgE in the process of sinile pruritus.Methods:Peripheral blood of sinile pruritus patients was collected and BA-ELISA was applied to detect cytokines IFN-r,IL-2,TNF-a,IL-4,IL-6 and IgE.Results:Cytokines TNF-a significantly increased in sinile pruritus patients compared with normal controls(P＜0.01),the concentration(pg/ml)was 15.82±8.05 in sinile pruritus and 5.80±4.22 in normal controls;while the level of cytokine IL-4 was lower in patients(P＜0.05),the concentration(pg/ml)was 10.67±4.37 in sinile pruritus, and 13.36±7.10 in normal controls.How ever,there was no difference in the IL-2,IL-4, IL-6 level between patients and normal controls(P＞0.05).there was no difference in the IgE level between sinile pruritus patients and normal controls(P＞0.05),the concentration (Iu/ml)was 55.65±38.30 in sinile pruritus and 58.79±46.99 in normal controls. Conclusion:TNF-a may be an important inflammatory medium and participate in occurrence which itch,the patients of sinile pruritus perhaps have the expression of Th2 cytokines function declining,IgE level is no difference between patients and normal controls.
