| Objective:Eczema is one of common dermatosis.To research the effects of Gubenxiaofeng pill in experimental and clinical evidence for treating chronic eczema. by the basic oriental and western medicine teories,to explore the action mechanism of Gubenxiaofeng pill ..Methods:Clinical study:70 patients with chronic eczema were divided randomly into the test group (38 cases) treated with Gubenxiaofeng pill and the control group (32 cases) treated with Shenlingbaizhu pill.Both groups had been given four-weeks courses.Experiment study: Repeated challenges of the ears of previously sensitized guinea pigs with DNCB induced typical chronic eczema then treated them with Gubenxiaofeng pill .Observing the right ears' weight and the level of inflammation,testing the level of IL-2,4 and effects of Gubenxiaofeng pill on itching threshold value with histamine in guinea pigs.Result:Clinical study shows that Gubenxiaofeng pill treating 38cases of chronic eczema,cure in 19 cases,marked effectiveness in 10 cases,effectiveness in 7 cases and failure in 2 cases,and the clinical curative rate is 50.0%.Its clinical total effective rate is 94.7%.It has marked difference than Shenlingbaizhu pill (P<0.05);The statistic result has provided significant progress in the desease treatment.The study result shows in the experiment(1) Gubenxiaofeng pill has obvious effects on inflammation.it can increase the level of IL-2 and decrease IL-4 in the guinea pigs induced by DNCB. Gubenxiaofeng pill is effective reation on anti-delayed allergy reation of skin in the guinea pigs(P<0.05).(2)Gubenxiaofeng pill can incream the local threshold of itchiness in guinea pigs and the pill has obvious effct on itching (P<0.01). Conclusion:The Gubenxiaofeng pill has the notable function of reliving inflammation and stopping itching as well as anti-delayed allergy reation and adjusting the cellular immunity.It is effective and well tolerated for treatment of chronic eczema.. It is applicable for chronic eczema.
