Objective: To discuss the correlation between gait analysis and contemporary evaluation standard of calcaneal fractures by analyzing the gait of normal people and calcaneal fractures patients. Methods: All the cases were divided into three groups (normal group, 1 year post-operation group and 2 year post-operation group). The gait, x-ray and Maryland score system were analyzed so that the pos-operative function could be evaluated. The correlation between parameters like standing time, instep index and subtalar joint flexibility and B?hler angle, Gissane angele, calcaneal hight, Maryland score was assessed by using Spearman analysis. Results: Results indicated that gait analysis could provide with change of parameters like standing time, instep index and subtalar joint flexibility, and that post-operative gait were high correlated with x-ray evaluation and Maryland score. Conclusion: It was feasible to use 3D gait analysis in curative effect evaluation of calcaneal fractures surgery and rehabilitation.
