Objective:To investigate the diagnostic value of the usage of liquid-based cytology (LCT)combined with biopsy under electronic colposcope in cervical leasions. Methods: Retrospective data of 924 suspicious cervical leasions patients were assigned to receive LCT combined with biopsy under colposcope(research group,301 patients)and biopsy under colposcope directly(control group,623 patients),pathologic examination of biopsy sample was used as gold standard, compare the positive detective rate of biopsy diagnosis. Results: Among the 924 cases, the positive detective rate of biopsy diagnosis is 45.2%(136/301)in research group, and 30.2%(188/623)in control group. There are significant differences(x ~2=20.07,P<0.005).CIN as well as invasive cervical carcinoma mostly distributed to the age of 31~50 years-old women(77.2%).The detection rate of inflammation and CIN as well as invasive cervical carcinoma had no significant differences among the different ages (X~2=3.833,P>0.05).Conclusions:LCT combined with biopsy under colposcope can improve the diagnostic accuracy of cervical leasions.
