The Study Of Biological Measure About The Eye Anterior Segment Of Mongolia Primary Closed-angle Glaucoma

Objective (1) To probe the difference of the eye anterior chamber structure between normal Mongolia and normal Chinese, and to find the relation with the high rate of Primary Angle Close Glaucoma(PACG) of Mongolia. (2) To investigate the difference of the eye anterior chamber structure of PACG between Mongolia and Chinese, to find the mechanism about PACG. Methods To observe and measure by ultrasound biomicroscopy(UBM) the eye anterior chamber of 120 cases of Mongolia PACG, 120 cases of Chinese PACG, 60 cases normal Mongolia , 60 cases normal Chinese. Result The eye anterior chamber structure of normal Mongolia has characters such as: shallow anterior chamber, lens change forward, ciliary boby change thick, ciliary boby change forward(P<0.01). The ultrasound biomicroscopy of Mongolia has characters such as: shallow anterior chamber, lens change forward, ciliary boby change thick, ciliary boby change forward(P>0.05). Conclusion From above, there were high risk factors reduced PACG in Mongolia.
