Clinical Study On Efficacy Of Xizhihuangxiao Addition Lotion For The Postoperative Complication Of The Hemorrhoids

Objective: The primary purpose of this study was designed to explore the prophylaxis and curative efficacy of Xizhihuangxiao addition lotion, for the postoperative complication of the combined hemorrhoids, such as pain,edema and hemorrhage, then we could find out the proof of Evidence-Based Medicine to support we use this lotion in large scale.Methods: We divide the patients into two groups randomly: treatment group and control group, each group has 30 cases. The treatment group used the Xizhihuangxiao addition lotion which was decocted by our hospital. The control group used Potassium Permanganate lotion which concentration was 1: 5000. At the first night after the operation and each time after bowel movements, Patients fumigated and cleaned by lotion for 20 minutes. During the first day to seven day postoperative, we should inquest patients the degree of pain and get a score; record the time in which the pain disappeared; observe patient if have edema or hemorrhage on the wound surface, then record the corresponding scores. At last; we analyze the data by statistical method.Result: The postoperative incidence rate of the edema and the hemorrhage of wound surface in treatment group are both lower than it in control group, there is signal statistical difference between two groups (P＜0.05). There is no statistical difference between two groups in the first day postoperative on the score of pain (P＞0.05); on the fifth day, the score of postoperative pain in treatment group is lower than the score of control group, there is signal statistical difference between two groups (P＜0.05); on the seventh day, the score of postoperative pain in treatment group is lower than the score of control group, there is signal statistical difference between two groups (P＜0.05); The total score of postoperative pain in treatment group is lower than the score of control group, there is signal statistical difference between two groups (P＜0.05). There is no statistical difference between two groups on the score of first postoperative edema (P＞0.05); on the seventh day, the score of postoperative edema of wound surface in treatment group is lower than the score of control group, there is signal statistical difference between two groups (P＞0.05). There is signal statistical difference between the score difference of the first postoperative edema and the seventh day's edema, the control group is lower than the treatment group (P＜0.05).There is no statistical difference between two groups on the equipartition score of postoperative hemorrhage (P＞0.05); the frequency of hemorrhage in treatment group is lower than control group, there is signal statistical difference between two groups (P＜0.05).The recovery rate of treatment group is higher than the recovery rate of control group, there is signal statistical difference between twogroups(P＜0.05). The total score for the complication of treatment group is lower than the score of control group, there is signal statistical difference between two groups (P＜0.01).Conclusion: The prophylaxis and the curative efficacy of Xizhihuangxiao addition lotion are better than Potassium Permanganate of 1:5000, majored in two points: the prophylaxis on the postoperative edema and the hemorrhage and curative efficacy on the postoperative pain,the edema and the hemorrhage.
