The Clinical Application And Analysis To External Ultrasound-assisted Liposuction

ObjectiveThe clinical application of the liposuction has been 30 years history and become a very effective method to treat obesity and to carry on the body sculpture. With the clinical application of the new technology and the new instrument, it has been possible for liposuction from low-volume and few spot to large-volume and multi-spots. In recent years, the clinical application of the external ultrasound assisted liposuction (EUAL) has obtained satisfactory effect. At the same time, with the more large volume of fat suction, all kinds of complication appear, even the death. This article discusses the superiority and the limitation to the external ultrasound assisted liposuction.MethodsThe group is 756 healthy female which are 18～56 years old and 43～110kg. According to esthetic request, we carried systematically or partially on the external ultrasound assisted liposuction to the waist abdomen, the back, the buttock, the upper limb, the lower limb and the breast. We recorded the swelling anaesthesia liquid volume, the aspiration liquid volume and the pure fat volume. After one month of the operation, we recorded the body circumference change to various spot. To the systematical body sculpture female, the operation gap is one month. ResultsAll females who carry on the external ultrasound assisted liposuction had the obvious partial change, especially the waist abdomen change. The waist abdomen average aspiration fat volume measured 2800ml, the single most aspiration pure fat volume was 4600ml.The waist circumference reduction was the 3.9～7.6cm, hips reduced 3～6cm, the thigh circumference reduced 2～6cm, the calf circumference reduced 1～3.5cm.The body circumference change between the pre-operation and the post-operation had statistics significance. There was less blood in operation and post-operation; the ache and uncomfortable degree were lighter; No serious complication occurred.Conclusions1. The external ultrasound assisted liposuction is simple and safe.2. The external ultrasound assisted liposuction makes it possible to aspirate the fat for large volume and multi-spots.3. The external ultrasound assisted liposuction is more suitable to the spot that the fat structure is compact and not easy to aspirate. After the external ultrasound, the partial suction is easier.4. The external ultrasound assisted liposuction has satisfactory effect to the obese patients and the partial body sculpture. After long- term observation, the partial obesity is not obvious resilient.5. The external ultrasound assisted liposuction is able to promote the skin contract. After the external ultrasound, the skin is smooth and the uneven hypodermic tissue is rare.6. The time of the external ultrasound is not too long. Otherwise the skin is possible to be burn.
